The Healing Studio
An essential element of self-guided Sevenfold Healing consists of developing the ability to recognize, enter, and hold healing states of being. This learning can be facilitated by bodyworkers and supported by group work through the offering of a Sevenfold Healing Studio.
To create a healing studio, a practitioner can become thoroughly familiar with the materials in The Chronic Illness Owner’s Manual and then:
- Gather a group of individuals with chronic illness who are interested in pursuing self-guided sevenfold healing and who are willing and able to engage the Manual’s text and practices.
- Establish a time frame for regular meetings such twenty-six weeks (one exercise per week), fourteen weeks (one introductory week and then two exercises per week), or seven weeks (one level of the body per week.)
- Establish regular meeting times such as bi-weekly or tri-weekly for several hours in the afternoon.
- Locate a suitable space, such as a yoga studio where the practitioner can put out massage tables or mats that suit the participants and the bodyworker(s)
- Establish a price that is sustainable for practitioner and clients
- Purchase The Sevenfold Healing Studio Package as needed for books, music, and guided exercises.
- Create a supportive ambience for each session that may include aromatherapy, music, natural spectrum light, or other features that suit the group.
- Co-Develop the Healing Studio by joining the Guild Development Group and networking with other practitioners
- Continue or cease the Healing Studio as desired
